DDNZ is a non-profit incorporated society affiliated with the Verein Deutsch-Drahthaar e.V. Germany.

The Deutsch-Drahthaar breed is the living result of over 100 years of dedication to a unique performance based selective breeding program. Today the DD is Germany’s premier hunting dog and its versatile talents make it an ideal choice for New Zealand hunters seeking a performance bred hunting companion. With many VDD clubs around the world, DDNZ members are now collaborating to introduce the Deutsch-Drahthaar selective breeding program and genetics to New Zealand.
